360º Appraisal

360º Appraisal is the only truly independent management appraisal system in the UK. When you use 360º Appraisal it rates the performance of your people by those who know something about them and their work. And each individual member of staff completes their own self-assessment which is compared against feedback from their colleagues.

Overview

360º feedback has been used by learning and development professionals for many years to help individuals and organisations improve their performance, effectiveness and profitability. It is a powerful tool that helps you become more effective by understanding how others see you, your performance, your behaviour and your attitudes.

Structured Feedback

Lawyer360 works by gathering the opinions of a number of people.  A series of carefully structured questions prompt you to assess your skills in a number of key areas.  A number of other people - typically around six - are then asked to give their perception of you by answering the same set of questions. All of the responses provided are then compiled into a feedback report.  The respondents cannot be identified in the report and because we are an outside third party, we offer the opportunity for people to give confidential feedback in a safe environment.

Identify Development Areas

The web-based software generates your personal feedback reports automatically, highlighting differences between self perception and how others see you.  Critical areas for self-development are often highlighted. Each staff member will receive an action planner to work through in their own time - either by themselves or with a mentor.  The pressure of face to face feedback is removed.  You choose who, if anyone sees the results.
